The history of Tulum is the history of the Mayan city that has the same name. It it is a city that even the passing of the times has not been able to destroy it´s main heritage of the mayan city. Come and discover this area of Mexico. This city was built during the first centuries of our era. During the 11th, 12th, and 13th centuries to be exact. This is when the biggest part of the city came about. In the 15th century the spaniards arrived and in the 16th it became completely vacant.
There are references of this city in the 16th century by part of the chronicles of the spanish expeditions in Tulum, Mexico. |
